What happens if you make a wrong transfer to your Nelo account?

If you transfer to your Nelo account by mistake, you may be in one of these situations:

  • Your account has active loans. If you have loans that have not been fully paid, the transferred amount will go toward paying them. If this happens, the amount cannot be refunded.
  • Your account has no active loans. Your Nelo account cannot store money, so the transferred amount will be automatically returned to the originating account.

How long does the refund take?

The refund is processed automatically. This process may take 24 to 72 hours to be reflected in the originating account, as it depends on the receiving bank's processing time.
